How this works

Alignment comes from the row, not a table. Each row is a flex line with the label growing and the combo fixed at the end, so every key cap in a group shares the right edge:

Print is a variant. In v4 print: ships by default — the same class list produces the on-screen card and the paper sheet.

Make it yours

  • Two fixed columns on desktop: lg:grid-cols-2.
  • Highlight new shortcuts: add a New pill with bg-kbd12-acc/12 text-kbd12-acc.
  • Denser rows: py-1 text-[12.5px].

Gotchas — read before shipping

  • Very long labels push the combo to wrap; keep labels short or let the combo wrap with flex-wrap (it does here).
  • Browsers drop background colours when printing by default — the design must read without them.
  • break-inside-avoid only affects printing and multi-column layout, not grid on screen.
